The Applause for America concert was a heartwarming celebration of unity and cultural heritage, organized by the UkrHelp Foundation to show appreciation for the support given to Ukraine and its people. Held at Carco Theater, the event featured a captivating lineup of performances, including Miss Washington 2022 Mazzy Eckel as co-host, musical talents such as Anton Kopytyn, Valentyn Lysenko, and Kristina Soltys, as well as the Ukrainian children’s choir Svitanok. The evening blended Ukrainian culture with heartfelt gratitude, showcasing traditional attire, songs, and unforgettable performances by internationally recognized artists.
Special guests such as Renton Mayor Armondo Pavone, Representative Jim Walsh, and Senator Jesse Salomon graced the event, emphasizing the importance of community support. Attendees were treated to breathtaking performances by City of Pines and a stunning acrobatic act by Adrian and Jessie, making the evening even more memorable.
The concert was not just a cultural experience, but a heartfelt thank you to all those who have supported UkrHelp’s mission to bring hope and assistance to children affected by the war in Ukraine.
