At the methodological seminar “Power of Pain,” the American foundation UkrHelp Foundation presented the project “Unusual Situation”. This initiative includes a story, coloring book, and workbook designed to help both children and adults identify their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.
The seminar highlighted how these tools can facilitate emotional understanding and coping, particularly in challenging times. The book has proven to be effective in engaging children and fostering meaningful conversations, even with those who initially may be reluctant to open up. The user’s experience with the book has been positive, noting its impact on a teenager who, despite initial reluctance, became more open after reading the story. The user is eager to explore further training and opportunities related to the project.
